10-17-2011 Indiana:INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A convicted sex offender arrested Wednesday on child pornography charges was found dead in his cell in the Marion County Jail Monday morning.
Jail officials say Anthony W. Humphrey, 51, committed suicide.
He was being housed in a single cell and did not have a cell mate.
The incident is under investigation.
Humphrey was arrested following an FBI raid on his Muncie apartment. He faced charges of possession of child pornography.
The Star Press reports Humphrey was sentenced to 15 years in prison in 2003 after he was convicted of sexually abusing an 8-year-old Delaware County boy. ..Source.. by WISHTV.com
