3-20-2009 Colorado:GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - The Garfield County Sheriff's Department says an inmate accused of sexually assaulting a child was found dead in his cell.
Officials say 25-year old Antonio Delgadillo was found hanging during a routine security in the jail's maximum security unit on Thursday. No other details have been released.
Delgadillo was being held on charges of sexual assault on a child, second-degree kidnapping, child abuse and contempt of court.
Officials say Delgadillo was not under suicide watch.
Sheriff's spokeswoman Tanny M. McGinnis says an autopsy report has not been completed. ..Source.. by News Channel 13
